Strong title, right? So why so positive?
For starters it's a smooth and simple enough placement game. Easy to learn and once your 2 games in, your playing against your opponant, not to rules.
Speaking of which. The rules are well written and a doddle to follow for multiplayer games. The 2-3 /4 player cards scale well but for 4 player games, you will run out of mint counters :/ luckily I was aware of this and had a packet of actual mints on standby.
The cards are really well printered and cut but the rules don't fit in the tin and the corners are being bent every time it comes out :(
The counters are nice but they're white discs so there's not a lot to get wrong. One of mine had a small chip in the paint but that's no major issue for me.
The random advanced location cards add variety to every game for good repeatability and there is even a solitair mode with AI cards. I can't comment on those much as I've not tried it yet.
I'm glad to have this game and would recommend it totally. It would have 5☆ if there were more mint tokens and if the rules sheet was 2mm smaller or had radius corners to better fit in the tin.
...but thats the point. All this in a tin. It fits in my pocket and comes everywhere with me now. It plays in a space as small as a the folding tray on the back of a train/airline seat
