Get your dice kick here!

A dice lover’s nirvana in this game. Nicely coloured, game easy to put together in seconds. Easy to travel without the box as most of the game can be kept in the dice bag the game comes with.

Game can be difficult and is very luck based, winning requires top notch teamwork and forward planning. There are different starting level options so you can tailor the difficulty up and down as suits.

Great for multiple players, ok for two (I’ve played two player many times). Highly recommend.

Fun, easy, co-operative game

This is a great game for people who hate a winner or a loser because you are all working together to save the world and you can build good friendships by helping each other to conquer the diseases. The other games like pandemic have different themes and in my opinion are more complicated; however this is a good 4-6 player game which could potentially need 2 rounds to understand the rules and the ability's.

Great gateway to original Pandemic

I really like Pandemic: The Cure as a quicker and simpler version of original Pandemic. The set up is quick, the rules easy to learn and the game play simple. I defintely recommend it for the younger audience too as the reduction from numberous cities in original Pandemic to just 6 Continents in The Cure as well as dice decided actions makes for streamlined decision making and less time over deliberating. I will say that the 30 minute play estimate is greatly underestimated for the first few plays while you learn the rules and even for experienced players play time varies depending on the luck of the roll (I have had games last 20-50mins). Occasionally it can get a little frustrating when the die conspire against you for example when you deperately need to collect sample and you roll several boats or you have several samples banked and can't roll the magic number to find a cure and then have no die left for actions. This helplessness however much like original Pandemic is an intergral part of the thematics adding tension and atmosphere which is what make the Pandemic series such great games.

Pandemic: The Cure, a dice-based version of the popularPandemic board game, sets up in less than a minute and plays in 30 minutes. As in the board game, four diseases threaten the world and it's up to your team to save humanity. You and your team must keep the world's hotspots in check before they break out of control, while researching cures to the four plagues.

Players roll dice each turn to determine the actions available to them. They can fly and sail between the six major population centers of the world, treat disease in their current region, collect samples for further study, and exchange knowledge to help them in their goal of discovering cures. Each player takes on a different role that has its own unique set of dice and abilities — and players must take advantage of their specializations if they are to have any hope of winning the game. The Dispatcher, for example, can spend dice to fly others around the board, while the Medic is particularly adept at treating disease. Players can roll their dice as often as they like, but the more times they re-roll for the perfect turn, the more likely the next epidemic will occur.

At the end of each turn, new "infection dice" are rolled to determine the type and location of newly infected populations. If any region on the board is infected with more than three dice of a given color, an outbreak occurs, spreading disease into an adjacent region. If too many outbreaks take place, too many people get infected, or the rate of infection gets too high, all the players lose. If, however, the players can discover the cures to the four diseases, they all win and humanity is saved!
