OVERVIEW
Verdant is a puzzly spatial card game for 1 to 5 players. You take on the role of a houseplant enthusiast trying to create the coziest interior space by collecting and arranging houseplants and other objects within your home. You must position your plants so that they are provided the most suitable light conditions and take care of them to create the most verdant collection.
Each turn, you select an adjacent pair of a card and token, then use those items to build an ever-expanding tableau of cards that represents your home. You need to keep various objectives in mind as you attempt to increase plant verdancy by making spatial matches and using item tokens to take various nurture actions. You can also build your "green thumb" skills, which allows you to take additional actions to care for your plants and create the coziest space!

Your payment information is processed securely. We do not store credit card details nor have access to your credit card information.
All online orders are processed from our dedicated warehouse. We take great care to ensure your ordered items are securely packed before shipment. Whenever possible, we reuse cardboard boxes from our suppliers, though we also utilise new boxes and wrapping materials when necessary.
For orders placed before 1:30 PM, Monday through Friday, we aim to dispatch them on the same day. If this isn’t feasible, they will be sent out on the next working day. Orders placed outside of our office hours (Monday to Friday) will be dispatched the following working day.
We offer free delivery on orders totaling £65 or more. For orders under £65, delivery charges are as follows:
• £4.50 for Royal Mail Tracked 48 (delivery within 2-3 business days)
• £6.00 for Royal Mail Tracked 24 (delivery within 1-2 business days)
Please note that shipping times are estimates and not guaranteed. Occasionally, unforeseen circumstances beyond our control may cause postal delays. In such cases, we cannot accept responsibility and will not issue refunds for shipping fees.
At this time, we do not offer shipping outside the UK.
At checkout, you will have the option to collect your order from our cafés in either Oxford or Bath, allowing you to avoid the shipping charge. We will notify you by email once your order is ready for collection. Please allow up to 3 days for orders to be available at the Oxford location and up to 7 days for the Bath location.
Orders will be held for a maximum of 21 days before being returned to our warehouse.

Important Notes:
1. Meeple Stars can be earned on retail merchandise purchased through both our webstore and café shop.
2. Most of our prices include VAT at 20%. Meeple Stars are not earned on the VAT
portion of the price. For example, if you buy a game for £50, you’ll earn Meeple Stars on the net amount of £41.67 (the remaining £8.33 goes to HMRC), which would give you 125 Meeple Stars.
3. Cover charge payments and food and drink purchases at the café do not qualify for
Meeple Stars.
4. Meeple Stars can be redeemed either during webstore checkout or when purchasing games
at the café. Each discount can only be applied to a single purchase. If the value of the item is less than the discount amount, the remaining balance will be forfeited.
5. Discounts cannot be used for shipping costs, only for merchandise.

This game is phenomenal. A lighter game with the chance to think about your strategy, including if you try to get as many types of plants or try to specialise and chain bonuses! If you love plants, you'll love the gorgeous artwork and the joy of putting the little wooden verdancy tokens on the plants! The KS edition includes the 'Potless plant' expansion which is interesting and gains you green thumbs instead of verdancy... Pick this up, you won't regret it!
So at first we looked at the box and thought - not that interested in plants - sounds a bit boring. However, as it had been suggested by one of the knowledgeable members of staff in Bath Thirsty Meeples we decided to give it a try. And - it's amazing how much fun learning about how to grow plants can be.! It's got some of the same mechanics as the very popular Cascadia but adds a few more twists. The plant cards are as expertly drawn with the same type of detail as the beautiful bird cards in Wingspan and even if you are not into house plants we were amazed by some of the strange things we learned about them.
You create a 5 x 3 grid by choosing cards from a selection that are available - you need to make sure you are meeting as many of the plants' needs as you can whilst also adding them to matching rooms that you can gain extra points for. If you add matching items to your rooms such as goldfish bowls or a border collie.
your plants become worth even more. Sounds a little obtuse but it's really addictive and since it has an advanced phase and ALOT of cards then it has great replayability as each time you can try a different tactic to try to gain as many points as possible. Also good to find a game for 5 players. We have bought it and think it will be come one of those games we return to lots.
