Silver & Gold

Game deisgner Phil Walker-Harding has invented more great games than it would be polite to list here, but Silver & Gold is a most welcome addition to their ranks. Game play is simple - flip a card to get a Teris-like shape, then use it to 'dig for treasure' on your collection of island maps. Completely dig islands or find treasure to rack up points, making the best use of your shape and pattern combining skills to romp ahead of the other players. Lovely, low-key, zippy and fun.

Love the game, such fun and creative and easy to play anywhere. It was easy to order, the information on the website about the game was comprehensive, and the ordering and delivery process was fantastically quick and easy- thanks Thirsty Meeples!

When life eventually returns to normal this is the kind of game you take with you on camping trips and pull out on rainy afternoons and play a few games. It's simple enough for the whole family but there's strategy and a little luck too. A great 20 minute filler

Such a simple game and very quick to set up and play. We were introduced to this by the lovely staff in the Oxford cafe before the lockdown and decided it was worth investing in as it’s such a good price! Especially as it comes with the four dry wipe pens too! We have put the cards in card sleeves to preserve them a little as I think it’s a game we will play again and again. It’s also nice and compact so will be great for taking with us on holiday etc!

A fantastic little filler game! We played this game first at Thirsty Meeples in Oxford, we were recommend it by one of the staff there. It’s really easy to learn and very addictive to play. The game comes with wipeable cards and pens, which you use to fill in your maps and try and find as much treasure as you can. I would highly recommend this game, especially as a fun little filler game.
