portion of the price. For example, if you buy a game for £50, you’ll earn Meeple Stars on the net amount of £41.67 (the remaining £8.33 goes to HMRC), which would give you 125 Meeple Stars.

3.   Cover charge payments and food and drink purchases at the café do not qualify for
Meeple Stars.

"It's a HIT!"

This was most definitely an impulse buy, as I saw it on the Thirsty Meeples newsletter and happened to be in store the same week. BGG had it reviewed at 7.6/10, which was encouraging to see as well.
In the next 36 hours after buying it I had played it twice, both times with completely new-to-game players, and both sessions were commented on by each group as being great fun, and challenging. So, yes, it is a HIT.

Several things I really like about this game. First, it's a co-operative game, but there is always only one person holding the Production Schedule per turn, and whether or not you agree with their decision, they have the final say. So, despite me protesting loudly that we should not bet the remainder of the Production budget on the horses to get us out of a financially tight spot, the dumb ass got to do it! This means you will always feel like your voice gets heard - "Quiet on set...dammnit"
Second, because each character in the production crew has different abilities (which are open to see but benefit from the rest of the crew being reminded how awesome they are), and every character also holds "Idea cards", which are secret until shared (in a Production meeting), the crew need to keep communicating often. You don't have the quiet periods where people not directly involved drop off (onto their phones for example).
Third, I felt the game was just loaded for you to naturally have fun. There are great mechanics which interplay and make the overall task challenging even if the individual parts might feel quite simple, and the way the problems can hit you exactly at the point when they have most chance to throw a spanner in the whole damn works...especially if you ignored the first one, then accepted the second, and were then floored completely by the third, which combined with the second one now makes succeeding highly unlikely until you head them down.
