One of the Best from 2020

This is a great game by Uwe Rosenberg, one of his best. If you enjoy games such as A Feast for Odin, Caverna, Agricola or Le Havre then you'll enjoy this. The use of cards is the best out of all of his games due to the fact that they can be played at anytime with a sense of satisfaction at completing the goal. The game is well balanced over the full player count of 1 to 4 players and it there is a good amount of variability with the use of different card stacks, ripe for expansion content.

A big box Euro worker placement game

We love Agricola so when I saw this I couldn't resist buying it.

We played it as a 2 player. The contents are great with wooden, shaped resources.

We've only played it a few times but it's challenging to reach the top points and it can be frustrating when action spaces are full and that limits your possibilities.

The game is large and needs lots of space to play.

A challenging but enjoyable worker placement game.

Uwe does it again!

With a great price & next-day delivery from Thirsty Meeples, it wasn't long before this newly-stocked game was on my table & providing a brain-bending game of planting, harvesting, gaining hops / goods / tools / jewels & sheep & trying to chain together bonus cards to get everything I needed to keep moving the cottage & clearing the rocks out if the way to score big.

Just when I thought Uwe Rosenberg had run out of fresh ideas for his Euro 'farming-style' games, he provides a fresh twist & concept that creates a, game which feels new & exciting.

This is going to give A Feast For Odin a run for its money on my table.

Top stuff!

Hallertau is located in Bavaria (Germany) and is the largest contiguous hop growing area in the world.

Hallertau combines the classic worker placement mechanism with the thematic implementation of the traditional two-field crop rotation and thus offers the players an interesting historical background.
