Simple fun for two
My partner is definitely a cat person so this was an obvious gift. The game itself is easy to pick up and fun to play.
Lay out cards in a 3x3 grid and take turns selecting a row or column to accumulate cats, food, toys and other associated items. But make sure all your cats are fed because hungry cats don't score points. There are also 3 randomly selected stray cats to adopt each game, offering chances to boost your score with their unique traits.
The game can support larger groups (up to 4), but we've never had the chance to try it with more players so I can't comment on how well it scales.
Overall its a fun little game that can be set up in 2 minutes and played in about 10. I prefer a little less chance and a little more tactics to my games, but this is fun for a chill afternoon.
